Mythology

Mythology

A Poem by Domenic Stewart
"

a poem I made about, you guess, RIGHT! mythology.

"

The stories of men and monsters of lore,

Built upon those that came before,

Some even come from the very core.

Some tales are of evil and others of good,

Some spread by men covered by a hood,

Many writings may be true while others simply could.

Creatures of day and night,

Some that can’t be beat in a fight,

Others that are scared of light.

It was a little awkward with phrasing and such, but on the whole, well done. Keep writing!

The first two stanzas were excellent, though I found the final stanza to be awkward in the sense that it didn't feel quite finished, I think this line, "Others that are scared of light and bring blight" should be more abrupt, perhaps by ending the line at "light" and continuing the rest into a new line (if willing to sacrifice your three line structure). That being said, very enjoyable, and I love the theme.
