Unlike Any Other Day

Unlike Any Other Day

A Story by Ms Paragon

She woke up early. Like any other day. Had breakfast, showered, put on her clothes,make-up and walked out the door. Like any other day. Only this day she didn't end up going to work. She simply couldn't bring herself to get there. Instead, she took a taxi to the airport, checked in the first flight available. No luggage,no past. Only the future in a new city, somewhere in the world. Anywhere in the world.

So,it was true, after all. There was nothing to hold you back but yourself. She looked out the window of the plane and smiled. Unlike any other day.
