Ain't no Race but Humanity,

One Humanity,

Once Race,

One People,

called Mankind,

that is The Human Race.

We all be 'Taters

raised from this Earth of dirt,

born from the same soil of life,

and to the same dust, we shall return,

to become dust together side by side

in giving rise to tomorrow's spring 'Taters:

The perpetuity of all Mankind as Humanity's

The Human Race.

Know this, fool!

Complexion ain't nothin' at all

 -- but skin on 'Taters,

and Racism ain't nothin' at all

but a stupid ignorance laden thang

all 'bout different complexion's flavors

of different types and kinds of 'Taters:

Russet, Red, White, Yellow, Purple.

But peel away the 'Tater's skin,

and ain't nothin' left,

but look alike 'Taters,

'Taters that look the same, skinless,

because we are all one and the same inside:

'Taters comprising Mankind's Humanity,

The Human Race as One Race of Humanity ...

I've never really been into pretty poetry ... I tend to believe that Poetry should not be mystical or even image-matic, as most Poetry lovers do believe that it is and should be ... Life is far too short to beat round any f*****g bush of failing to say and express, exactly, what we do have to say in stating our given, individual, message to all the world of Mankind's Humanity ... So, thanks for giving this read a shot ...

The ability to use common words in uncommon ways allows for reaching a larger audience with an express image that has an emotional effect far beyond the flowered words of yesteryear

I never forgot watching the movie sandlot in the movie yeah yeah he’s asked why he and squints were late squints of course the boy in glasses. Yeah yeah says “ Squints was pervin a dish” Meaning squints is in love with the lifeguard Wendy. This is a colloquialism to that area that I find absolutely charming. Place is it in our past with something we can all relate to young love and that truly American ability to invent words words that are only relatable if you are an American

take off the skin and we are all potatoes that look and taste the same.
