PerfectionA Poem by Nathaniel.CA poem about attraction.Perfection The look of you, perfection to my mind in which you lay, I bite my lip, close my eyes and wish to hear you say, That you are mine and by my side you will always stay, Our heart are so much different, sad songs mine forever plays, Your eyes shine bright and your vivacious soul glows, I hope to be near you and I pray that it lasts forever. A beacon of beauty and perfection to me, Soft pink lips, gentle curved hips it’s just so beautiful to me. I hate that I won’t love you, and I love that I can’t hate you, But please, stay here for just one night, with me. Passion will light up the sky and cast the clouds away, Two figures collapse panting, upon the bed they stay, Stare into each other’s eyes one last time, And on repeat, The sad song still plays. He cannot stay, they cannot be, time has had its way. Cradle to the grave, the other lives on to see a bright new day. © 2018 Nathaniel.C |
