The Storm

The Storm

A Poem by Nathaniel.C
"

A short poem I wrote about moving on from my problems.

"
Cyclone of violence
Endless stream of memory
Cut around the eye of the storm
Tears fall down from my face
My minds a monsters hiding place
A childhood never took it's form
Pain and eternal misery
A mother raises up her fist
It clashes down and breaks my wrist
Constant screaming constant crying
Inside this man a child is dying
All forgiven, none forgot
No more love in this heart of rot

I'll learn to laugh, I'll learn to love
I'll kiss my fist and raise it above
No more tears not a single fear
A child dies and a man will rise
I will live life for a thousand reasons
No longer will I provide a shelter for my demons.
