Walk in the city

Walk in the city

A Poem by MandaBear
"

i couldn't sleep so i made this :) tell me what you think

"
Breeze in my hair
a spring in my step
not a care in the world
Just taking a walk in the city.

Following signs to nobody knows
maybe stop for a silly pose.
Smelling the pretty rose,
Just walking in the city.

All the Architecture more special then the last
Yet tons of people tend to pass.
Museums, fountains sidewalks galore
I feel still i am looking for more.

My destination is not reached
For a detour has come within my grasp.
Lots of gravel to travel; Road to ride on.
All from Just walking in the city.

Radios on, Maps out and many miles ahead.
Souvenirs to be bought.
Food to be eaten; Drinks to be drank.
Traveling to the beat of a different drummer.

All began with a walk in the city......

very cool ! That made me remember of the times I go out to take pizza for dinner, it's very close to my home but I always take the longest path (which takes me like 20 min instead of 5) to enjoy the journey :) Sometimes the journey is better than the place you want to arrive :) Just a question I've been asking all the time reading this poem: Where do you live (which city)? xD
