I love this poem, Michael. Such wise words. If only we could all learn to do this, instead of listening to the preconceived ideals of others, the projections of others (when often they are afraid to concentrate on themselves).
The one true relationship that lasts as long as a "lifetime" is the relationship we have with ourselves. Worth some investment time, I think! The only true path to learning, excellence, contentment and inner peace.
