Tragic & Upsetting Is the Norm.

It seems to be a common trait

on seeing disturbing and upsetting

videos and stories,

in our local or national newspapers

and also online.

When in general there are enough

upsetting things, going on in this

world. Without the press adding

to the trauma of everyday life.

It so tragic and sad.

That it seems, so rare to see

Nice happy, joyful stories

about good things,

instead of bad

online or off.

That's why we have poetry..a wonderful escape
from the harshness and tragedies reported on
a daily basis on tv ..and other medias ..however; would
be nice to hear some happy lighthearted news..

yes everything is sensationalised, made to look worse than it is and then we are all become sensitised by it all and even left numb.
