Time

A Poem by Lisasview
"

Finally, finished my Quatrains, in 8-count poem. Thank you again Richard for your help in fine tuning my poem...I am forever grateful.

"

   Time....

B'neath calm clouds of endless time,

their paths had crossed again … oh, fate!

No changes made, their lives still chime;

love has no expiration date.

Click - click, ticked the bell of time….

His lips caressed each soft, closed lid;

air filled with longing’s deep desire.

All that which they knew life forbid ...

was wished - her heart he could acquire.

For her, his feelings ne’er denied …

intense, the moments they both sought.

Though, naked … boldly, they were tied;

forever bound, this was their lot.

Smooth fingers found a single tear;

emotions clung to bosoms bare.

In warm hands crying, without fear,

until no more sad tears they’d share.

                  ~~~
A very sensual poem Lisa, which shows us that after time has passed, seeing your loved one once more can be just as passionate as it was before...maybe even better now than before.... words of lust and feeling each other in a wonderful love tryst.....even though it might be taboo...
Thanks for sharing Lisa, have a wonderful New Year!
Warmly, B
Beeeautiful, Lisa ⏰
Free Style poetry is among my favorite poetical forms, and you've certainly laid a firm foundation, with a creatively imaginative storyline and format, for a genuinely masterful composition. If you're willing, I'd like to work with you a bit on this one to help polish some finer points and make this beauty really shine … let me know.✍
A good number of your lines spoke gently to my heart, so I'll not highlight anything; yet, sigh with deep-felt emotion.
It's great to see your new efforts, Lisa … way to go! ⁓ Richard🖌
Gentle, kind and loving words dear Lisa.
"His lips caressed her closed soft lids.
The air was filled with sweet
nothing whispers.
Love for her he could not hide."
I did like the above lines. When love find us. We cannot ever forget her. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
