Writing In Circles

Writing In Circles

A Poem by Penulis Kecil
"

It's easier for me to write than to talk, but all I really do either way is cover myself in words that seem designed to hide. Not (own) fat-friendly.

"

This is what I do,

craft words to hide what I wear

within my heart;

a coat of language

to cover the squishy bits,

those bulges I despise.

If you were talking of this physique,

the chassis that holds all that I am,

you might call them love-handles(-

a prettier term than fat)

with kind intention.

Still,

we both know what you mean to say.

It isn't good enough,

this ugliness requires

abolishment.

It transfers over.

Sometimes, instead of a coat,

I trap the fleshy parts

within the carcass skeleton of a corset.

Iron bones transform me and

I will become perfect.
