Love's Reasoning

As the glowing sun falls away from the horizon
And tiny orbs glitter across the velvet sky
Thoughts rapidly form, memories begin to fly

Warm sunny days spent playing outside, water fights
Smiles gleaming bright upon three content faces
Venturing off to different beautiful places

Hours of delight acting like kids being free
Enjoying each moment that delightfully past
Longing and wishing those minutes would last

As night would fall and purple invaded the sky
Little one safely tucked in a comfortable bed
Quiet time together, new directions lead

Sitting in the cool grass gazing at the stars
Talking meaningfully about whatever came to mind
Even now passionate love is utterly blind

the world vanished, melting transparently away
Two people totally emerged in their scene
Snuggling close into comforting arms she'd lean

Solace had finally been discovered and found
Walls were dissolved, broken into grains of sand
No longer treading water, feet finally found land

Letting her heart heal and soulfully connect
Forever giving it all, her heart eternally bound
No longer beating as two, but pulsing one sound

Enduring love welding her heart, always to him
With abandon, to his soul, hers merged forever to stay
Memories of those times, keep the darkness at bay

Distance and time keeping them now, utterly apart
But her love continues even during this passing time
When it doesn't make any sense, no reason no rhyme.

That was absolutley amazing. im utterly speachless. I loved the rythm and flow. The rhyming was....odd to read but for some reason it seemed to make the poem. I cant find any other words to describe this except... Amazing!

I agree with Crusaderscross on this. When you read it you feel taken away to a different place. The poem describes the beauty of romance and a perfect relationship that grows strong. I have noticed some powerful words such as "melting transparently away", "Enduring love" and " rapidly" caught my eyes a lot.
