I only see you

this is a poem about seeing for the first time that special someone that shines above all the rest

I've never seen a soul

Gleaming in the light

 

That can match

Your eyes in darkness

 

They really are too bright

 

Yet I want to look

To stare into the sun

 

They've burned out of my head

Now you're the only one

They say eyes are the windows to the soul, and that's why people like certain eye colors because different eye colors mean different thing. Like different eye colors mean a different personality, or so I have heard. This is a nice poem. Short and simple, but to the point.
