B******s of God

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

thank you for getting this far ... you have not become offended in the title ..please give me your input on any and all constructive criticism .. :) as you always do

"
B******s of God

i was born this way.

"You may plagiarize Me if you please."
He said ... while

all of mankind saying: "but
              liters of rain are dropping
turtle-like green shells ............
                      mapping breaches.

the breaches have made us  so
You  reigning
                       Your rain dropping
whole, quarter, half and whole dropping on all

plagiarize me green

green and sprouting shoots ... sprout and shoot ......."
                                              Then the
                                                           troubles
                                                                             came.
with water
smooth grinding pebble stone all pretty in fall colors
racked in slings  ... quarter water a drop
begins admission
                                contrition
waking beached craft; whole whales
                                               drafting  excuses
b******s of God
witches okra .... sly wicked smoke to hide in   (again He says)

"Plagiarize Me
                          if you please

when I say
                             Let it be and
Come to Me"

There is amazing power in your words. Plagiarizing the green of the earth and all things we were taught....copying what we have seen and yet not making it quite the way it was intended. Of course, in order to really "get" what you are saying, a person must believe in what religion has taught. Not sure I have ever bought into it all....and yet the intensity with which you wrote this makes me sit up and take notice. A unique write to say the very least. Lydi**

I think this is a very rich poem when it comes to word choice and use, heavily powerful but not too much, leaves the reader thinking but also sort of mind blown at the same time. The structure is interesting to follow, it's like getting lost and finding oneself again in strange yet fascinating places.

You're welcome. I enjoyed reading.
Your spirituality shines here. The mystery behind God's handiwork never ceases to amaze me. The more I see the less I know. His wisdom is endless and best to leave him in control. Thank you so much for sharing.

Perhaps the American Indian knew before he realized his way of life, his way of thinking seemed to encompass the totality of an ecological mind.

A bit confusing but I get it!

'Then the troubles came.'

Nah, the trouble started when God decided perfection might be rather boring to watch.

I see this as a challenge to world to rebuild in the image of God and all he intended. This world he created, that we have destroyed, we need to copy his plans and intentions to recreate in the intended form.

my turtles have brown shells...wonder what they are hiding under there, or perhaps protecting...

we have our shells, we crawl through life slowly like the turtles...develop a hard shell from experience, but hope to find courage to live better lives, not corrupt ones...

and i like the idea of plagiarizing good actions...that is the one time we want to plagiarize....although at times when i read your work...i think about wanting to do it.

so deep you are...and mind really goes on a journey...
