It happened one day
When my eyes met yours
I don’t know what it was
That made me fall for you

I talked to you
And learned who you are
You were different from anyone
Anyone who managed to get into my heart

I started to see rainbows
By the sound of your name
I started to find my heart racing
By the thought of your voice

And all that time
I denied and denied
What turned out to be right
What turned out to be love
And it’s all because of you.

We hung out as friends,
And everything fell into place
So ironic it was
How it all worked out so great

I caught your eye,
And you caught mine
And I sent you something
That made you falling for love

And then you fought
For my heart
With out ever seeing your battle

They flow in my head
By the melody of heartbeats

Feeling out the world by my feelings

I started reading at random and started thinking 'ach, if only I cld spark a few rainbows here and there'. Then that line started to grow on me ... rainbows, butterflies and masks often feature in poems, but what the hell I saw a cracking rainbow over Galway Bay a couple of days ago and it was beautiful. So your poem has changed this cynic's mind a degree towards true romantic north.
