The Hot Air Balloon

The Hot Air Balloon

A Poem by Robert L.
"

It gently floats through the inferno

"

Rubefacient sky silhouettes the impetuous clouds

And the hot air balloon remains aloft.

Its brightness and patterns are shadowed by

The sky behind.

Her eyes stare, awestruck, at the molten heavens.

My heart is melted within me, observing

This spectacle of nature.

I gaze at her.

She gazes at the sky.

The hot air balloon gently floats across the heavens.
