Gone

Gone

A Poem by Rin
"

It is importent to have the memories of lost friends.

"

I have left
I am gone
To another place
It has been so long
Remember me
Or I shall fade
Remember me
For I am away
A new life
A new story
Always restarting
But never forgotten
I try to remember them
Bad memory clouding vision
I have forgotten some of the faces
Even now they remember me
Even though I don’t see
I remember them
Only because they remember me
Please remember me
Or I shall disappear
To live only to be forgotten
Is to not live at all
Remember me or I will die
For the memory
The memory is all that keeps me alive

Very good poem. It flows and reads very well. We all have the fear that we won't be remembered when we're gone, so this is very easy to relate to.
