Climatic Disaster

Climatic Disaster

A Poem by matelotrod

Just a reaction to the weather we are suffering in the UK

   Climatic Disaster
Some days are hot and then the next day they're cold
How can we enjoy summer if we believe what we're told
The weather forecaster’s deliver a great heap of untruth
They say "Todays temperatures are rising" where is the proof?

I look out of my window and  decide "Trousers or shorts"
Then go to my television to check on the weather reports
The information is confusing "Clouds and torrential rain"
So I go back to my wardrobe and put my shorts away again

It's time to make a decision I will travel down to the beach
I'll take a variety of clothing and keep it all within reach
A raincoat and scarf with a swimming costume and brolly
To hell with the weather forecaster I'm determined to stay jolly

Well yes Rod, compared to when we were young the climate is hotting up, but then again our planet has been through so many ice ages and warming ups maybe it isn't all our fault.... we don't help i know with all this pollution thinning the ozone layer but maybe the climate change will happen anyway if the universe dictates it.
Too hot for me at the moment but staying indoors gives me a reason to catch up on art work and new poetry...always something good to be found if you look for it :)
