Into The Mirror

Into The Mirror

A Poem by Edgar Perez
"

i am the project.

"

These faces aren’t familiar.

 These faces are not family.

  These faces have eyes.

   These faces though cannot see.

   These faces cannot hear me.

  These faces don’t know me.

 These faces are just faces.

These faces are all mine.

            Oh mirror,

when will you break away from me?

So many beautiful faces.... through the mirror seen.... intriguing write my dear friend...
It's mysterious yet, well known, by the writer... thank you for sharing your art here.

The repetition of "these faces" makes this very intense. What does one see in the mirror? Is it the true reflection of the inner being? Lots to ponder here. Good psychological write. Lydi**
