dreamer

people see my outside layer
they don't know who i am within
i smile on my own abruptly
about the world that lives within

all the sadness taken out
no place i need to be
in my world im myself
free to be the dreamer im known to be

Your work is accumulation of a similar theme; individualism. At least, that is my perspective of the poems that have arrived in my read request box. The dreamer is pleading for the world to understand them in their entirety, but the person must realize that no one is going to have an all-knowing insight into your internal self. My most favored line is the last; "free to be the dreamer im known to be." This one was my particular favorite because of the writer's faith in themselves; to know they are able to actively become who you are.
