The Fire in the Night

A sizzling hope

When shadows fall

A dream of

A brighter future

When a blue sky

Is out of reach

A flaming sun

When the world

Is engulfed in darkness

Burns so bright

In the gloom

Protecting the ruins of the world

With a fierce, blazing light

When night has come

Be not afraid

For the only light

That keeps on shining

Till the end of time

Is that fire

The fire in the Night
