Take Time

Take Time

A Poem by Shalini Dinesh (Poet's World)

                   Take Time

Take time to look around you,
For the days you live here may be few.

For the crisp wind knocks your door,
The yellow canary has songs to pour,
Droplets of dews drip from green leaves,
From the old tree that shades your eaves,

The blossoms bloom like ever before,
Take time to sense the aura and adore,
The rainbow paints across the azure sky,
Have you ever wondered how or why?

Colorful butterflies flutter here and there,
Our life on earth with them we share,
Have you ever noticed the bright sun shine?
Or the midnight moon so pure and divine?

Walk out of the stress where you’re curled,
For we are drifting in the stream of the world!

We almost always walk the same path, dear friend .. and here 'we are drifting in the stream of the world' and loving every moment of it.

This is a truly beautiful entry for the contest

The poem is beautiful and positive. Your words are true. We must be thankful for a new day and the beautiful gifts of nature. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
