The Winds of Summer

The Winds of Summer

A Poem by Remanence
"

A stirring of summer memories at Breezy Point.

"
Still waters quicken
and Aspens bow to the call
of summer breezes.

Everything answers to the call of the wind, even us.  One of the more notable natural triggers of depression is the wind, especially a southeasterly wind, which studies have shown commonly causes increased anxiety and lower energy levels.  Seasonal Affective Disorder

Fine words and moments to long for: watching and then, remembering, how glorious Aspens salute to then dance to the breezes; calls To hear the quavering sounds too, Nature becomes an orchestra.. and you have described it.. gently but majestically. Lovely. Thank you!

Hello, Watercress! :)
This is lovely. It’s a breezy day here, and we’re off to the park. Thanks for sharing.

Thsnk you Mattavelle, enjoy your day!
Your lovely Haiku is playful on the mind. I saw the rippled water and the movement of the aspens bowing to the summer breezes. Your aspens are very similar to our silver birches. Such graceful trees with slender limbs.

I also read your link. So interesting. This week we have had really wet spring weather and unusually strong winds lasting days. It has quite put my mind in a swirl. I have not been at my best.

Thank you Watercress for gifting me some beautiful imagery on another dull and windy day here.
