I am walking on the snow & fading do you know?

My steps are slow, mind stumbling & shivering cold

Lone in this journey, I'll cross miles of roads

But I'm destined for my destiny & none other goals

Gently, I'll disappear, Miles away my love

Yes, miles away from you my love!

Author's Note

You need to decide your destiny and walk through the roads.
Then it maybe a long lone journey or thousand years in love. Who knows?
Stay hungry, Stay foolish!

You convey a real feeling of a struggle and loneliness with this poem. The snow can be deep and walking in it in sub zero temperatures can hazardous. You have to keep going.

dear Poet... in my twenties I learned to Snow Ski... and then I went high up a Mountain by Chair (where I jumped off) and slowly descended in a few hours. The next year I went to a smaller Ski Resort and descended through a Trail in the Woods. A Fireside Rum and a Chat was all I needed to relax. I appreciate your Poem and I am grateful that I experienced a bit of Heaven on Earth at an early age. gently, Pat

I certainly get the sense of isolation as the speaker walks through the snow. It brings up many questions... why leave his love? Clearly the farther he goes, the colder it gets... where is he going? The best writing leaves you with questions to ponder.
