foolishness

kind of inspired by the idiocy i see every day around me by most of the student sitting in the classroom

obnoxious, so simple minded

no thoughts of today or tomorrow

is this really how low we have fallen

out, our logic unwounded

intelligence fled leaving sorrow

no matter the cost, gain you sought but lost

worthless whiles

useless thoughts

unneeded blinds

bliss beguiles

untold fraughts

as astuteness flees your minds

a faithless hope

a losing race

a silly world

all these with stupidity elope

casting all in a shadow of disgrace

and still idiocy unfurled

do my shoes match

what is infidelity

they have no worth

for they see ignorance as a catch

and embrace foolishness decree

fatuousness all they birth to be free

Good work and great word selection. I like the idea and the language. I think this does address a problem that exists in society. Best thing you can do about people like that is just lead by example and show why stupidity is not such a desirable attribute. Keep up the good work!

Ignorance is the only true friend some people will have in the end, definitely worth writing about, however not worth worrying over, you portray that perfectly here, this is written very confidently and shows clearly that you are much stronger than them! Good job. :)
