Broken things don't generally work as well as they should. But we are all broken, to some extent. We have missing parts and empty spaces where the manufacturer obviously left something out. But all is not without hope. Sometimes we find someone willing to invest the time and provide the healing touches that repair our wounds. Sometimes we are able and privileged enough to do that for others. Sometimes we find our missing part in someone else and are, at last, able to fill that empty place inside. Sometimes we find a soulmate that completes us. It's not always. Life is not a fairy-tale. But, sometimes.
