Life is very cruel sometimes
Makes me wonder how people sleep at night
It's all piled on my back
People watching everything you lack
So get up its time to fight
I can't promise it will be alright

I can't hold back these tears
I've been holding them for two whole
years
I never wanted to be alone
I got problems of my own
Where were you when I broke down?
I need to get out of this town

You get on my last nerve
When will I ever learn?
It's funny how you set me up to fail
But when the dirty work starts you left, gone and bailed
I make mistakes and everyday changes
Feels like my life is flipping through the pages

When I get up, I trip and fall
Just shut up and hit the ball
A swing and a miss
Ever since then I've been dissed
But as long as you believe in me
I'll be the best I can be

Every word that we speak holds so much of desperation and despair.
Aren't we all desperate to have someone around whom we can rely on and we think that we have got one they just bail on us.
We all are humans with feelings and its natural we make mistake.
I absolutely loved the last lines.
As long as we have someone who believe in us that's all we need.this just reminds me that first we all need to b believe in ourselves .and in the end that's all we'll ever need.

That was felt. The part where you question where this person is for the entirety of the difficulties only to find out in the end that whatever opinion they have of you still matters (and greatly at that) to you.

I think and feel this poem of yours is very reflective of the sentiment people feel when they want someone in their life, but that person though wanted isn't being there or seems not to be making effort enough.

Congrats on the authenticity of the feeling that you captured here. Perhaps, the more it flows, the better it gets.
