Night Comes Softly

Night Comes Softly

A Chapter by J. Land
"

For the flirtation between Night and Day...

"
Night comes softly over the horizon,
Immersed in his indulgence,
Inherited by the Day long since
Spent tempting the dark with Sunshine.
Day giggles out her Song,
Winks once before slipping past
His fingertips, almost tenderly touched
As the Night whispers to the moon his Orison.
