My name is Hane Ryu, which translates into feather dragon, really dumb I know. But any way I am 15 years old, and more or less have no home, I ran away from my parents when I was young and the only thing I took was my Great- Great- Great to many Greats gramma’s book. It a journal of the Salem witch trials that killed many of her friends and family, but because she married a prince she wasn’t even though to be a witch.  It’s only because of her that I ran away in the first place, it’s not like my family hurt me, I just didn’t want to live with them. I wanted to start my own journey, without anyone’s help, although nothing’s happened so far. I will wait until the day my adventure starts, but until then I shall practise my magic in this cold lonely park.

There’s nothing here except a few lamp posts and my home, which is just a poorly built tree house. I sleep there every night, all that’s in the tree house is a small child’s sleeping bag that’s in two pieces, which I got begging in the streets when I was 6 years old. Although it doesn’t fit now, I still use it to sleep on even though it’s now a blackly brown, I have been saving up for a bigger sleeping bag.

“I almost there too, I don’t need any one, but myself!” I yell not so sure of myself, I climb up the almost dead tree and into the tree house. When I sit down a part of the poor built tree house’s ceiling falls on my sleeping bag and falling through the floor onto the ground.

“There goes my food money.” I say looking through the hole in the floor, “Or maybe.” I jump through the hole and run towards the streets. As I see a couple walking past the 24 hour shop I start singing, bring they wallets towards me before they even notice I steal their money and run.  It was a waste of time only 20 dollars, I decide to give the money to the thieving children on small box street.

On small box street live to thieving children, I showed them everything I know about thieving and they are now pros at it. Unlike me they didn’t run away they were abandoned by their parents, because they are also like me witches. They have no names, no home and no family, they rely only on themselves. And even I’m a bit of a stranger to them,

“Miss H,” say a boy with pitch black hair and blue flame eyes. “What are you doing here,” a little girl with one yellow eye and one blue pops up from behind him and smiles. I give them the money and leave, hoping to find someone rich to steal from.

“My only wish is to find them a home, so where safe and warm, where they no longer have to face fear.” Hane says, and from behind the shadows a young man with glowing red eyes smiles,

“Be careful, you never know whose listening,” he whispers so she can’t hear. When see looks around he disappears into thin air.
