A Chapter by Wathanya.5KY3

Dear Wathanya,

Guess who's back. Back again. Journal's back. Tell a friend.
Actually, don't.

I'm sorry to hear that the Rowdy-Ruff boys called for their backup, Stress. It doesn't help that your new roommate is yet another person that can't deal with her envy either.

First of all, I want you to know you're very brave for not enduring her abuse of sensitive information, and--although I'm a little disappointed that you took her first threat like you deserved it (you absolutely don't!)--voicing your concerns to the authorities was definitely a good decision.

You also got to know her "standards of cleanliness" was all a facade to mess with your head and to bully you into cleaning like Cinderella, didn't you? The Doc is right. Success is a lonely road.

As for stress management, I think cleaning your dust-covered PS4 and getting a new game for the first time in three months is one of the ways you could release the accumulated stress.

And practice the art of saying No. You don't need more external stress.
Remember what the doc told you to ask yourself?
"Do you want to do it?"
Yeah, ask yourself that.

I'm proud of you for telling someone you couldn't go to their next live music event. They were cool about it, weren't they? They even asked to work together with you some day, and--just in case you haven't noticed--that means they definitely don't think you're a monster for saying no.

Being absent for class tomorrow morning because you have to go to the hospital is also okay, so stop fretting over it! Your health is at risk here!

Writer's block is a real struggle, but I know you can get through it.
Oh, oh! I spy, with my little eye, a few extra lines... I can no longer rhyme.

And, last but not least, voicing your struggles isn't ranting. Ranting is talking about how the damn menstrual cup won't unfold itself right after it's inside (which is actually on the borderline between ranting and voicing struggles, in my humble opinion).

Keep hanging on, my friend.

Love, :)
Journal

I've never even worn a mestrual cup and I can sense the level of frustration with that. Welcome back, Journal! You have great advice.

Voicing struggles is definitely ok, actually a positive, good and healthy thing to do. And a little rant now and then is ok, too. We all get carried away sometimes. I know I do.

Listen to Journal, Journal has good advice.
