I Don't Want To

I don't want to fall apart again or ever.

You're the one who ended it with me.

It ended so quick.

I wish I wasn't so fragile.

Because then I could easily move on.

I never wanted to beg for your time. 

Or for you to notice me.

This mess isn't just bad luck.

Like broken glass

It all came falling down.

I don't want to fall apart again or ever

How could you say that lie to me?

I know you'll never know.

The pain that was caused in me.

Not so much descriptive as far as imagery; it's more of a straight forward, raw, "this is how I feel" kind of poem. It's more contemporary, and I admire that. I like it! You did a nice job on it, and I'm happy to see I'm not the only one inspired by songs!
