I'm not really sure what this is meant to mean.

A wish, a dream, a hope,

nothing but a knot at the end of a rope

A love, an ex, a loss,

nothing but a soul to toss

A want, a need, a lust

someone that you can't trust

A secret, a truth, a lie?

Something sore to the eye.

Author's Note

This is a really short poem I wrote in about 5 minutes on the bus from school to home. Enjoy! ( Idk if I'm done writing this I might lengthen it)

I, too, think the length is perfect. A person can get several different meanings or just enjoy the poem for its uniqueness.

I love this. I actually think the length is perfect. Any less I feel the reader wouldn't understand as well what you're experiencing, and any more you are rambling about teenage love. Very good!:)
