New Feelings...

So this is probably the first love poem I ever wrote...

 

 

New Feelings

We live so far away,
Almost five states today,
But that doesn’t change my feelings
For you,
And I hope you feel the same.

I met you a while ago,
And your words made me smile,
Now I long to hear
Your voice,
Even if it takes a while.

Your sweet and considerate
And have a great since of humor,
You’re the one who makes me laugh
When you know I’m about to cry

 You say you’ll always be there,
And that you’ll never leave,
At first I didn’t believe you,
But now I feel relieved

 You always say the nicest things,
When I’m at my worst,
You always have my back,
When I’m nothing but a hurst.

 You say you love me,
And I say I love you, too,
But not in the way,
I really feel for you.

 I hope one day,
I’ll meet you in person,
And you’ll feel
For me,
What I feel for you.

I love you…

 

My inspiration for this poem is one of my best friends, who I have feelings that are more than just friend feelings.
I wasn’t sure he felt the same about me, when I wrote these.
So I thought it was pointless to write.

okay here's my honest opinion, from everything that i read of yours: which we both know is A LOT! ...i think thus far: this is my favorite of yours. this is lyrically gorgeous. your words captured the vivid imagery of baring your soul for your intense love for this person, in every way. this is just stunning. and by the way:
