Days of Future's Past (Haiku)

Days of Future's Past (Haiku)

A Poem by Allen Smuckler

Tomorrow’s sunshine

just for fun and just because;

I missed it today.

perhaps knowing that there will be sunshine tomorrow, we take that for granted. we lose ourselves in our own adventures and passions in the moment, which is today, and don't think about tomorrow's sunshine because we are absorbed in today's sunshine. it is a thought-provoking and contemplative piece. excellent job.

You've brought out what I subconsciously think in my head every warm summer's day. A wonderful Haiku.

Yes. An inspiration to catch some sun today, while it's peeking!

Very nice, Allen. I enjoyed it greatly.
