Visions cloud the mind

Timid moment in madness

Stabbing at the wound.

Unexpected draws so close

Fear takes all control.

Thunderous heartbeat

Danger revels within mind

Lightning strikes the heart

Leaving you breathless

Captured breath, frozen in time

So hard to escape.

Fear is a emotion that I loathe as it seems to rule me. I cannot impress upon you enough the pain of it. Of course maybe you already know. I think fear can be a friend though in a way because it helps to keep us alive and alert to danger.
