Falling

This is the story of my life. Right here. Laid out in front of you. Happens all the time and I can't seem to rid myself of this cycle.

A complicated past
So thwarted with pain
Lies, Distance, Hurt
Your support was me
Because no one else stood beside you

Two broken sides
Cracked from the same problem
Lies, Distance, Hurt
Both fell to me for back up
How could I possibly choose?

Still the same fight
Divides the two now still
Lies, Distance, Hurt
Pulling me every which way
Shredding my own base for myself

There's nothing left
Of me to support either of us
Lies, Distance, Hurt
I'm all washed out
With nothing left for me to hold on to

I choose not to choose
And that has what's gotten me here
Blackness, Pain, Loss
That's what I'm made of
Because they've ripped everything from me

Now when I need you the most
You've gone running and hide
I'm spiraling out of control
Yet you still stand outside my reach!
Why won't you come help me?
