I wonder who is the "She" whom will not tell You thousands of stories after reading these words? You melt a woman's heart then You burn it like a flame, beautiful romance and passion lighting all the ambience around, another piece of beauty and love to adore from You my dear gifted friend.

I hope you made "tales" with this Scheherazade. I don't know who this dame is that you write so many odes to, but I hope she's real and I hope you made the most of every day with her--each day another "tale" in your story.

Thank you Carol. Old journal poetry. Old wishes, fore-gone now.
I loved the last verse,,We need new stories, we need stories of us, near the sea, drinking sweet wine. a great visual..

Thank you Mandy. Us, who love to write. Need long road trips, to test life and to be fearless.
Amazing work, Coyote. As always.
This is such a touching and sophisticated, romantic piece.
I hope you and this lady create a tale full of wonder, love and joy. Together forever in her arms.
You sound very happy there, my friend.
And as long as it makes you write excellence like this, i am satisfied, as well.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Wesley for reading and the comment. I do appreciate.
There's nothing more precious than having a friend who we can tell our stories to. My best friend died four years ago & your poem reminds me of how we would swap stories & that was just about all we had anymore to share. Also reminds me of Judy Collins song: "Since You Asked" -- what I'll give you since you asked -- all the songs I never sang to one man before . . . nothing more (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you Margie. All of us need someone to tell us stories and to listen to us.
this is another example of why I love to read you John.. your words carry hope in a world that has gone wrong... there is future in your words and when I rid myself of the lump in my throat.. I find myself smiling... N :)
