L'école - Poem (translation below)

A Poem by 外人 (Gaijin)
"

Hope you like it :)

"

TRANSLATION
Title: School

School is so bad,
it steals my youth,
it scares me daily,
I hate it, no doubt about it!
I want to go far from here,
follow my heart, live my life.
I have no interest in this stuff,
it upsets me,
I want to know the world,
not Latin or math so deeply.

Oh you do seem to be so excited about learning things. And there is so much to learn out side of school. Though enjoy school while you are in school. You might miss it, at least a little some day, if not classes and work... teachers, being with friends/classmates...perhaps the food served at lunch, etc. Nice little write.

Just think about applying what you've learned in school to the world so that you can know it more through that. This piece is simple and blunt. : )

A quaint if a little immature piece, but it lends to the overall effect.

i picture you at your desk staring out the window feeling cooped up in school. it's good that you can articulate you frustration through poetry.

Hard to believe. You will miss school one day. I work 55 hours a week. I would love to go back to school and be able to learn. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

The sad thing is that I know exactly how you feel. I could really relate to this poem.
