Chapter (26) BIRTHDAY BLUES

                                                  BIRTHDAY BLUES

 

                              Little Freddy had a birthday,

                              To celebrate when he was born.

                              His mummy made a chocolate cake,

                              And they ate it on the lawn.

 

                              Some friends came round to play with him,

                              and stayed to have some cake,

                              but his mum had only made just one,

                              and had no more cakes to bake.

 

                              The friends were feeling hungry,

                              As they played and had some fun.

                              Freddy’s mum she made more cakes

                              And giant icing bun.

 

                              She put them on a table,

                              His friends then ate them quick,

                              And when the plates were empty,

                              All the friends were feeling sick.

 

                              So when you’re at a party,

                              And you’re eating lots of cake.

                              Remember if you eat too quickly,

                              You’ll get a tummy ache.
