The Word That I Hate Most

There is a question in my mind,

Whose answer I can’t find,

That why my friends, my father and mother,

Compare me to others?

Why they tell me to see those?

Comparing is the word that I hate most.

There are some differences,

That makes me unique and beautiful,

But they compare me everywhere,

Whether it is home or my school.

Comparing is a battle that I can never win,

And if someone compares me this is like a sin.

I will feel very happy that day,

When someone compares me to the person from yesterday....

This is out of your experience ey? I believe you are not alone hehe though I find this necessary in life's growth somehow. Being compared to others gives you the ability to be aware by your actions and convert them into your own advantage so that you could be compared as you being the good model. Like what you have penned on the last line. Keep writing. :)
