Reality

Just some stuff I wrote and decided to share since it's been forever!

I try to pick up the pieces of my shattered heart left crumbled on the ground but defeat starts to set into my mind. Emptiness is a feeling all too familiar as I lay here and contemplate what the rest of my life without love would feel like. Nearly two years have passed and women come and go... not one has chosen to stay and accept the love I have to give. On the other hand, maybe they see that this heart is empty and while I lay here believing in what I have to offer, the women of the past see that there's nothing left. No love, no compassion and no reason to love me. I lay alone without a tear in my eye, without an ache in my heart. Yet, I caress a crack in my soul as the pain and hurt from life without love is beyond affecting the body I reside in. It's much deeper than that now. It's taking a slow, torturing toll on my soul that will last eternity. An emptiness and loneliness that bruises the very thought of my own existence to a point of feeling completely gone from life as we know. Yet, I stop to think that it's still just me laying alone in this bed. At least I have me.

Doesn't really fit a category but I have all these things I've written and haven't shared... decided to share this piece that I wrote in bed last night.

An interesting write caught between an itch you cannot scratch, a hunger that won't go away and maybe just maybe,slow down and let love come to you, its all about being out there socially and something happens when you least expect it. apart from that i feel your pain. Hi Aaron hope all is well.

It definitely does have a way of creeping up on you when you least expect it! I blame it on the colder weather :) I appreciate your response buddy and all has been well... just out living and experiencing life and hoping the urge to write and share comes more often :)

Love is my favorite four letter word! It does have a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it, so maybe that little guy with the arrows is giving you some time to just be good to yourself for a change! I believe it will happen...just wait and see!

I read your first line and I want to write something with that line :) It definitely does creep up on you... I've just been feeling it lately and have had the feeling of being wanted and loved. It's really weird because I've become so dependent and have done many things to just be happier and everything then this feeling just hits out of no where. ahhhh ... you know I have a lot of friends in this situation, it's just something I have never expereinced myself so what to say? what to offer?

I thnk sometimes the universe wants us to get a start on our own, you know learn to be comfortable with oneself, like totally alone and in love with self first before any other ... also there is a lesson in patience too i guess, ah, we all have our little lessons in life....

yes I would say, learn to fully appreciate yourself in every single way, love yourself and then open your heart to the universe, smile and mean it, let the love out just becuase you can, not because you need to ... then see what happens, it does take time though ... thats the patience bit :)

It's funny the way things work. I have been perfectly fine and happy just living life and experiencing all these new things and baam! Just like that those feelings creep in. It's getting darker earlier, colder weather and I think being alone just kind of hit me all at once. I'm definitely listening to your advice my friend :) And it is always good to see and hear from you... sorry I haven't been around as much but hopefully I'll sit and make some more time :)

I think the cold can definitely change one's mood - in England they call it Sad Disease ... for the long winters when they don't get enough sun as the days are always grey ... if it's the weather, I suggest you find comfort in something you like about he weather ... learn to enjoy a brisk walk in inclement weather ... find the beauty in it :)
