FEAR HIM ..In reverence

The world today ea all its scientific and other discoveries seem to be taking steps backwards. Even with positive signs that mother nature is giving each year, each month in countries around the world

                          FEAR HIM ...In reverence.

Fear the greatness, the awesomeness of our Creator:

worship His Majesty in meekness and  humility.

    Look around, contemplate the uniqueness of every living thing

    Realize the beauty of creation, the molicular structure of each

    living being - serving its purpose in the universe.

Mankind is yet to discover and is still searching for an answer to

                   the purpose of His plan.

Each day of life new discoveries are made - and there is more to come!

Delving into the past and researching into the future - we learn much more.

    Survival is the game - mankind acquires fame.

    Fear Him and never profane His name.

    Life like a chess board - the Master is in control.

    Fear Him and know that He rules the universe and all that is in it.

He sends the roaring thunder, and floods the earth.

He erups volcanoes spreading hot lava over land and sea.

Pay homage to His power - Creator of the universe

He gave us eyes to see the wonders of the world

and lips that we might tell - how great is our God almighty

                          who has made all things well!

Nice. I am not a big believer though. I grew up around Buddhism and Korean shamanism. I don't really follow it anymore and I am just not part of any religion currently.

To thine own self be true! A good person is one who respects another and treat him/her with dignity and decorum. You havent got to be deeply religious to do that! Just saying thank you to a Superior being/ creator for your existence is enough!

The message is coming to us in so many different ways :- flash floods , volcanic eruptions, bush fires, hurricanes..other natural disasters .. and we are so blind!

AH kitty, you know that I seldom read non rhyming poetry but this one set my mind off on a tangent. We come from an age that was made to respect God and his ways and now I find we have lost it, there is hardly any church-going, Sunday School for the young or respect for religion. I love the last stanza here and I fully agree with the content. Well written and eye opening. Thanks for sharing. Rod.

Wonderful words of praise to the most high- yes a wonder working God is He nobody will ever fathom His ways and know His plans not even the angels- I walk in faith daily trusting His plans for me and stand in awe of His greatness and wonder - He deserves all the praise and glory- 🌹
