she was and she was

she was and she was

A Poem by jacob erin-cilberto

she was and she was

elementary emotions

like first grade crushes

chaotic moments

composure flattened

Nice and impactful, and done with such conciseness of expression.

I enjoyed the read, and all the best,

Ah, puppy love - when the tail wags the dog. We've all been there Jacob.

My dad once told me "puppy love means nothing, except to the puppy". Its a hump to get over for sure.

You are welcome Jacob.
The first crush roller coaster ride is so well captured here, Jacob. She was and she was and somewhere she will always be! Just loved this poem 💕

yes that first sight that arouses the senses, "I must have syndrome" only to be followed by her rejection, then the composure crashes!

Oh, this bites, true, raw and deeply meaningful. I think most folk, would and could relate to this one. Fleeting moments of euphoria then kick in the butt afterwards leaving you to feel deflate and thinking. What happened? Great short poem.

An excellent brevity full of so much to say and relate. I love how you describe situations past and present. Marvelous Jacob...
