Saw this at a botanical garden today

Standing out of the crowd
Easy
Lose your clothes (leaves branches)
Bark at them birds bark get it 😋
Lose your protective layer
Stand proud n tall
And stand your ground
Most of all be original
Strangely different from the rest
The horizon is yours
To see

Trees inspire me in so many ways! They never try to be what they are not, I've known them to be the best listeners, they are generous to the small birds and mammals that need a home, and they supply us with the necessary oxygen, provide shade and so much more. Your poem honors that in the mighty tree and I also enjoy your playful word choices. nice job!
