Sometimes it’s our mind that makes us hear differently- we need to listen carefully with the heart- we need to protect our heart from unwelcome words and actions of the world, the heart can be a very noisy room... wonderful and thought provoking, makes one think .. enjoyed reading 🌹

you are right..appreciate your words very much..and thank you for your sweet time and visit :)
Oooooohhh, I see the phosphenes. One of my favorite words. They fade....as does your words into this. Maybe transform is a better interpretation. Nice!
When life gives us storms a rainbow can appear after. Many times our heart and minds can be at war with each other. Logic says one thing but our emotions want a different story.

This is a stunningly sparse use of fresh words grouped together for impact. "That rainbow" is a great way to leave the subject open-ended & idea-provoking. "Mellifluous voice" sounds just as good as it depicts & I had to google "phosphene" which is a brilliant word to summon a ton of visuals as to how many of the best things in life burst & then burnout. I'm sure I've never summoned so much in so few words! Hope your new year is popping as much as this poem! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Some words fade into oblivion. Others linger stubbornly. Words convey many things. They have lots of power and influence.

love love love the language here ... rolls off the tongue ... i read somewhere that is called "milk toast" writing ..a treat to say out loud .. strong contrasts says i! i'm set up for the phosphene closing ..had to look it up so thank you for my word for the day ;) people just aren't what they seem sometimes ..hard truth in that ... the breach of trust ... can be like a migraine given in return for honesty ... phosphene makes me think of a migraine ... they can certainly begin that way :( well done..in few sculpted words ..

Love the way you played with words, it's very clever !
What an imagination ! when we see it the way you described it, we can say it's somehow true !!! like rainbows are actually a melodious sound that transformed to be beautiful coulours *-*
By the way, I love the title, it's exactly the words I love ( I have some special words I love *-* ), and it's actually thetitle that captured my attention to read the poem, and Lucky me I did because i was even more amazed by its contents
Woaaw, this is just phenomenal *-*
