Evil Thoughts

Why do I have these terrible thoughts?
Why am I starting to give in?
I don't want to give up.
I want to live.
I want to be free.
I want be happy,
But I am stuck in these shackles.
These shackles of a prisoner,
They torture me.
They fill me with a darkness that I've never felt.
I want to be free from these shackles.
How can I ever gain my freedom?
I cannot live,
It seems as though I must give in,
For I have tried to leave,
But there is no light for me to find.

Hi everyone, I know this isn't one of my better poems,but I need to get this out of my system. I've been going through a rough time lately and I would love any advice you could give me.

And im sorry that you are going through a rough time, I can relate to what you have wrote but listen, our brain will sometimes get destroyed or destroy us by thinking bad or evil thoughts, whenever you do think about how much you want to live and how much you want to be happy and how much you want to be free, just free your mind from the darkness and you will feel free to love and free to be happy, our lives are meant to be lived once so make it count and do whatever it takes to be happy, do the things you love to take your mind off of whats bothering you, and music always helps if your into music, if not try it, try new things to find new things to love, if you can find something new to love or if you already have something that you love then love it to take your mind off.
Don't runaway because if you do, the very thoughts that you are running away from will follow, so please just try to let go, try to let go of these thoughts, your still have your whole life to be lived, to be happy, to be free.

first of all...never ever lose hope i'd say!..because once you give up,give in...your ruined..everything seems to be fading and to avoid that..never lose hope dear!
secondly, forget about the rough times and pray to god sincerely ....this willl make your heart light enough to think about the next step!....

sometimes I wonder what freedom is and what slavery, it seems a fine line as I get older, I am not always aware of my feelings or when I am having a good time and when not
