Spontaneous. Perhaps a little gooey lol

I slept

listening to the sound

of your rhythmic breaths,

and your snores,

my customized lullaby.

There is something so sweet about a lover's music... breathing softly... snoring even... every sound of a lover reminds us that we are home... we are safe... we are in the world where we belong. Thankfully my wife does not snore. I think I would sleep in another room if she did! On the other hand, I suppose there are worse sounds that lovers generate. Personally, I cannot sleep and listen.
