About Me

Imagination is a gift to be used to help others percieve a world just outside of their realm of understanding. Imagination is a tool to help those unlock the door to a new world. Imagination is a guide, and we are the shepards to tend the flock. Imagination is our job, it is our burden to make sure it lives forever. Imagination is our baby, and we must do everything in our power to protect it. We are writers, and we are sworn to uphold imagination by any means necessary.

Every time I get on this site, it makes me feel like a ghost. The years fly by as does life. I write and write in my notebooks, yet I do not share them, my mistake. I was on a roll. I had friends on here, then I disappeared to live a life simply to pay bills. I miss the friends I met on here. I hope they are all doing well, and writing.

Life always seems to take me in different directions yet I continue to always circle back to writing. I'm not even sure if the people I knew are still here. I've been through elected office, two failed proposals, a scandal, and I'm just breaking into my thirties! Throughout it all, I kept writing, tucking ideas away for another day. I even considered a non-de-plume as a way to publish instead I abandoned the one thing that helps me maintain my sanity, my writing. That almost resulted in my insanity, but I digress I can only hope my friends are still here, and yes I came back last time, but then my political party held a vote, and I lost. Seriously. I am a team player at times, so I capitulated. I hope all my old friends are still here, and I'm anxious to meet new ones.

Yeaaah. It feels so good. It feels so nice, I think I'll type it twice. I am baaaaccK! Check in, because I've had time to plot out some great stories. Sorry not to much poetry, but I look forward to reading some, but there are those of us who yearn to write fiction, and keep hope alive. Not that poetry doesn't, but then again, we are talking about a different hope, aren't we.

I have been go for so long, and I am happy to be back. The creativity was almost driven from me by my job, but I fight to hold on to it, and my notebook grows thicker with each passing month. It is full of ideas for stories, essays, and even some poetry. If anyone notices I'm here, I hope you are happy with some of the new stuff I will be uploading. I almost forgot about the site, until I found an old print out. After the big crash, I thought all was lost, only to discover it here, like a treasure. The universe works in a funny way, and its funny how often my job comes up in these comments. It probably makes people wonder, why I even bother. Well, someone's got to do it.

I have been lost for about a year. My journey of self discovery in my profession has not left time for my writing. I now know that I NEED to fuel this aspect of myself as well in order to be happy. I will write, and for those of you who have written me off. Wait until you read the stories that have been ideas in the margins of budget books. My imagination lives, and I will longer deny it's outlet. Please friends, come back!!
