You take the pills

To my mother...

You take the pills
because your hurting
your trying to run away
run away from your pain.

 

You take the pills
even tho you know it hurts me
you know i dont like seeing you
seeing you slowly kill yourself.

 

you take the pills
even tho dad told you
if you take them again i will leave you
leave you so we dont have to see you hurt

 

you take the pills
even tho one dark night
you took to many
to many for you almost died

 

you take the pills
even tho you know what happend last time
you woke up in the hospital
in the hospital because you almost overdosed

 

you stoped taking the pills
when i stole them
from where you hid them
you hid them in my little brothers drawr

 

i gave them to my dad
because i wanted him to know
what you were slowly doing
you were slowly killing yourself
