Gardening

A Poem by Ahmad Cox

The garden is here
It's here on this Earth
The garden is in every single one of our hearts
This garden connects to our mother
To nature
To the spirit that binds us all
That lets us know that we are one
Let's understand and see the truth
This garden grows and flourishes in our hearts and our minds
We are all Adam and Eve
Tending our gardens as we grow
Grow in spirit
Grow in love
And learn to open our hearts
And let in that beautiful wonderful
Healing feminine energy
That comes with tending our garden
While at the same allowing our father to flow
Like breath that gives life to everything
And the spirit that brings that spark that makes everything new
Tending our gardens as we walk in peace
Healing our Mother
And healing ourselves

I am glad you have the garden in your heart as well.
A poem of tribute towards beauty of the world is always admired. The atmosphere of this poem is the beauty of the poem will be greatly respected. I understand this poem talking more about the heavenly paradise, the garden of Eden, than the world in general. Great piece

Thank you. :)
you speak of the beauty and feminine quality of our "garden" earth and give credence to the thought of all man being sons and daughters of the same seed. this is exactly what i believe and i am enamored with the beauty of this write...not just the way you present it but the content has great and important value for all humanity to share. excellent write!!! most def going in my faves!

tied together nicely indeed, well done!
Beautiful tribute to Mother Earth. Yes we are the keepers the ones who tend and we need to tend more so she can heal and continue to provide for us.

I am glad you liked it.
Reminds me of the garden in my Nana's heart--she used to tell me bedtime stories about a secret garden in her heart where we could go to disappear from the meanness of the world.
