My Sweet Girl

I just wrote it after thinking about it :)

She is what I have always wanted.

 

She looks beautiful in anything

But she is not one to be vain. 

Like an adorable baby girl,

She always wants to cuddle.

 

She is the lyrics to all of my songs,

Which I want to hear all lifelong.

She loves to eat chocolate,

Something I never deny.

 

She is the heart inside of my chest,

She is the answer to my prayers,

She is the mirror of my dreams,

She brings smiles to everyone she meets.

 

She has an unforgettable face,

And a naturally shy nature.

She will bring out the best

and worse hidden inside of you.

 

She has faith in God,

But believes equally in all religion.

She has so many friends,

And loves them without measure.

 

She is all that I have ever wanted.

It started off overly soppy, and I was certain I would have to sound so pessimistic in my review - but then I realised she's probably not my type. So you can have her, and I can be all 'cute poem, and well written.' :P

Nice write, I like the change in the first to last line but keeping the same message. Because repetition is overused recently. Thanks for sharing :)

There is something so simple and sweet in your poetic ways...are you sure you are not a really mature child? I swear I am seeing love through the eyes of a child...even when I read your other poems...the simplicity and naïve nature of your words...is softens and inspires me. Lovely as always.
